Do I need tickets?
Check first - you may not! Outdoor Festival events are FREE and for many others you don’t need tickets - there’s a collection on the way out.
How do I get tickets?
Festival events (ie these organised and managed by Wymondham Music Festival) will be clearly marked in the printed programme and on these pages. This year, the price listed is the advanced booking price - it’ll be £2 more to buy on the door. Young people under 18 pay just £2 in advance for any event (£4 on the door).
You can buy tickets in person at the WMF ticket office at The Book Fountain, or by post enclosing an SAE to Festival Office, 9 Vimy Drive, Wymondham, NR18 0PB. Please make cheques payable to ‘Wymondham Music Festival’. Please include your phone number in case we need to get in touch.
What is the Gold Ticket/Silver Pass package?
The Gold Ticket Package is a very special deal - you get a pair of tickets for each of 9 events for just £90. This is less than half the price you would pay on the door - and your seats will be reserved! You need to purchase the package before 10 June through the Festival Office - details on our ‘Contact Us’ page.
In a new venture for 2011, we are offering a Silver Pass for £50 - it’s a similar deal to the Gold Ticket Package with just one ticket per event.
For all concerts in the Abbey
Do try and get tickets in advance for all evening concerts as space does run out. Seats are not numbered or reserved so please get there in plenty of time. Parking near the abbey can be difficult so please use town centre car parks if you are able. There are limited facilities for disabled drivers near the south door.
Wymondham Music Festival ticket office
Once again, we have made arrangements with The Book Fountain to sell tickets for all the WMF ticketed events. This delightful little book shop can be found at Wharton’s Court, just off Market Street. Their telephone is 01953 603663, although they are unable to take telephone orders for tickets. They will also be selling tickets for the Wymondham Symphony Orchestra concert (16th July). Click on the picture top left to go to the Book Fountain’s website - it’s packed with good stuff!

Gold and Silver Ticket Packages
Introduced three years ago, we are again offering a Gold Ticket Package for the 2011 Festival. The package contains 9 pairs of tickets for each of our ticketed events. You’ll get the tickets for less than half the price compared to buying them on the door. That makes it a pretty good bargain by our reckoning!

With a Gold Ticket you can sample a great mixture of musical types. The discount means you can afford to try something new - you may be pleasantly surprised! Don’t forget - if you don’t want to go to all the events, you can pass the unwanted tickets to friends - they’re not wasted! The only thing you can’t do is get money back on unused tickets. Please note that the Silver Pass is not transferable.
As an additional benefit you’ll get reserved seats at each event; this ensures you get prime listening/viewing positions and you won’t have to rush to get a good seat.
